Meet Jeff
Jeff Olsommer was sworn in to represent the citizens of the 139th Legislative District on May 21, 2024.
Olsommer previously served as a Wayne County Republican State Committee member and the former director of the Western Wayne Education Foundation, Wayne Economic Development Corporation and Southern Wayne Regional Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves as a board member of the Wayne Memorial Health Foundation and as chairman of the Sterling Township Board of Supervisors and the Sterling United Methodist Church Trustees.
As the representative for the 139th Legislative District, Olsommer pledges to focus on reducing taxes for hard-working families and seniors on fixed incomes, advancing pro-growth policies to help Pennsylvanians prosper, reducing crime, working with school districts to fully empower and educate tomorrow’s workforce, ensure first responders have the resources they need to keep us safe, slashing government intrusion, defending the rights of the unborn and protecting the Second Amendment.
He will serve on the following committees: Children and Youth, Game and Fisheries, Housing and Community Development, and Insurance.
A lifelong resident of Wayne County and a graduate of Western Wayne High School and East Stroudsburg University, Olsommer and his wife, Kelli, live in Sterling.
The 139th Legislative District is comprised of parts of Pike and Wayne counties, consisting of the townships of Blooming Grove, Dingman, Greene, Lackawaxen, Milford, Palmyra, Shohola, Westfall, Cherry Ridge, Dreher, Lake, Lehigh, Paupack, Salem, South Canaan and Sterling, and the boroughs of Matamoras, Milford and Hawley.
