Olsommer, Dignitaries to Honor Local Centenarian and Surviving WWII Army Ranger

WHAT: Sgt. Joseph J. Drake will be honored in a ceremony at the Wayne County Courthouse. Mr. Drake, one of only five surviving WWII Army Rangers and a local centenarian, recently received the Congressional Gold Medal during a ceremony in Washington, D.C.

WHO: Rep. Jeff Olsommer; Wayne County Commissioners Brian Smith, Jim Shook and Jocelyn Cramer; and representatives from the offices of state Sen. Lisa Baker and U.S. Congressman Rob Bresnahan.
